How long does it take for a website to be completed?
The timescale of a project is generally dictated by the client. If you have a deadline in mind we will endeavour to meet it for you. The most common delay in the creation of a site is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent to us by the client.
Domain name and hosting?
If you would like to use our services all you need to do is inform us of the domain name you would like to use and send us a brief idea of your requirements. Will will check the domain name availability, and then purchase the domain in your name. We will provide hosting for most clients and this will be included in our quote. After the first 12 months there will be an annual charge to cover domain name renewals, and hosting services. This will be outlined in our quote.
Do I get an email address?
The amount of email accounts varies depending on your chosen package. Further email address can also be arranged at an additional cost, please contact us for further information.
Pop3/IMAP maiboxes give you the flexibility of accessing your accounts online via a web browser, and/or using a mail program such as Outlook.
How much will it cost?
The cost of a website varies, depending upon the type and size of site you require. Please see our basic pricing structure, for typical prices. Each site will be treated and quoted on a individual basis, and these costs are only intended to give you a ballpark figure. We request a 20% deposit for all standard sites and 40% for larger projects. The balance of payment is then due on completion of the project. Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer or PayPal. Ongoing costs may include an annual fee for web/email hosting, management and maintenance - Any ongoing costs will be highlighted in your quote.
How is my website updated after it has been completed?
Depending on your requirements, updates can be done by us as and when they are required, or by yourself using a an integrated back-office application.
What is search engine optimisation?
All web sites should be 'optimised'. This will enable your site to gain a high search engine ranking, a web site that isn't optimised won't appear in search engines to any great degree.
